A blog is a flexible website, with a flow of stories [called posts] showing on the homepage.

Think of an online diary, and you’re very close to a blog. Your latest blog post is a shown as the topmost story, and all others are pushed down.

Blogs are usually in chronological order, but not always.

There are plenty of sites that let you start a blog for free, on their own website, but you may have to sacrifice on total-control or professionalism, or maybe run their ads next to your posts!
