4 Ways To Earn Money With a Blog
Blog are traffic magnets. A blog pulls in visitors from other blogs, from Google, from RSS syndication, from email newsletter subscriptions, from comment-participation, from social bookmarking, from twitter…
It is because of this power that a blog is a great online money-maker.
Here are some [not all] ways to earn money with your blog:
1. Blogs send visitors to your main website
If there is one place you want people to end up on the web it’s your website. While it’s true that you can sell things directly off your blog it is probably also true that you have a website that you wish to promote with your blog. Good news. 2. You can earn AdSense money
Google AdSense is an advertising program that lets you profit from people clicking on links and adverts on your blog or website. Your blog posts can carry Google AdSense, so every time you write a post you have income-potential even if you don’t sell your products!
3. You can build a mailing list
Probably the most overused [but still true] piece of advice given by successful Internet Marketers is “the money is in the list”. Instead of constantly trying to find new people to sell your products to… you build a list of subscribers and find new products to sell to them! It flips it all on it’s head, and makes profit-making easy. Of all the websites and blogs I have, I have had the most success building mailing lists from my blogs. Go for it. Build your mailing list! 4. You can promote affiliate products in your blog posts
If you have been looking for a way to earn an extra income online but haven’t been sure where to start, a blog would be an excellent choice. I bounced around online from one site to the next until I finally realised that if I build up reliable audiences in different niches then I would be able to promote good products to them [that they would likely have bought without me anyway] and get paid a commission for being the middle-man. I recommend things, I get paid a commission. It really feels great when you can fire off a blog post, include a short mention or review of a product, and see sales start trickling in!
These are just 4 ways you can use your blog to earn more money. There are dozens and dozens of other things you could do, but these are enough to get you started
